![]() On the backside of the pumpkin, I started by adding the first piece of trellis in the middle, splitting the rectangle diagonally, using wood glue and brad nails to secure it. But the next part was the most fun and where the project really comes to life, adding in the trellis.Ĥ. This was the hardest and most challenging part, as it took time and precision. For the inner parts of the grid, I drilled a hole in the corner to be able to fit the jigsaw through. Masking tape is the best because you can still see your line easily through. To help the wood from splitting, use tape on top. From there, I drew the inner edge as well as outlined the horizontal and vertical grids, using the jigsaw to cut. I then used a jigsaw to cut out the outer edge.ģ. You can easily free hand it, but I am not the best at free hand, so I used a projector to project a picture of the pumpkin onto my wood board.Ģ.
